About EFAB and the product workflow

EFAB develops CAD/CAM software and tufting equipment for carpets, rugs and custom-made artificial grass (artificial turf). We bring extensive experience in custom-made artificial grass tufting to a portfolio that connects design preparation with manufacturing, helping customers select a coordinated software and machinery workflow.

EFAB GmbH is based at Kommunikationsstrasse 6.3, 47807 Krefeld, Germany. Contact us at info@efab.de or +49 2151 5241770 to discuss your requirements or arrange an appointment.

Choose eDesigner for carpet design, Robotuft Add-on for robotic tufting preparation, and eHMI for operating supported machines. eTuft is the production robot and eSampler is the sampling machine. EFAB also offers shearing equipment and specialist textile software. Tell us your process so we can recommend a configuration.

The designer creates artwork in eDesigner and prepares tufting paths with Robotuft Add-on. The operator loads the resulting job into eHMI, sets the supported production parameters and supervises eTuft as it manufactures the carpet. The exact workflow depends on the installed software and machine configuration.

eTuft is a robotic system for producing tufted carpets and custom artificial grass. eSampler is designed for making material and quality samples. Choose according to the intended product, sample size, yarn and production requirements; the machines serve different roles.

Yes. EFAB has extensive experience in tufting custom-made artificial grass, also known as artificial turf. We maintain long-term cooperation with prominent companies in the sector across Europe, the USA and the Middle East. This experience informs our approach to customer-specific tufting projects. Share your yarn, backing, target structure and sampling or production requirements so our team can assess an appropriate machine and tufting-head configuration.

eDesigner is offered as licensed design software, including editions with Robotuft Add-on capabilities. A software license does not establish compatibility with every tufting machine. Ask EFAB to confirm the required edition, machine interface and any integration work before ordering.

Enquiries, evaluation and support

Contact EFAB with your application, current equipment, desired carpet or sample dimensions and intended materials. For software, include the design tasks and file formats you use. This helps us prepare a quotation for the relevant products, services and configuration.

Contact EFAB to discuss a demonstration of the software or tufting workflow. Describe the functions you want to evaluate and whether you have a representative design. We will confirm the available demonstration format and any preparation needed.

Paid one-month trials are available for eDesigner and Robotuft Add-on editions. Confirm trial access, the selected edition and current commercial terms with EFAB. See the eDesigner and Robotuft Add-on FAQs for product-specific details.

Yes. EFAB offers eDesigner training. Ask us to confirm the sessions included with your license and the options for additional training. Training for machine operation should be agreed for your particular equipment and operator needs.

Email support@efab.de with your product, software version, machine model if applicable and a description of the issue. Include the error message and steps that reproduce it. EFAB will advise on the support route and any diagnostic information needed under your service agreement.
